Presentation of the FP7 2011 Research & Development Grant Opportunities and 7th Framework Programme (FP7) Calls Presentation

September 16th , 3.30pm to 6.30pm and September 17th, 8.30am to 11am for KBBE topics, September 17th 11am to 1pm for KBBE, Energy and Environment topics, and 3pm to 6.30pm for Health topics

Purpose

Bringing together research stakeholders from the public and private sectors of both EU and Third countries with Commission officers, and provide information for networking and developing dedicated public-private partnerships. FP7 2011 working program fosters international cooperation among EU and non-EU countries, and encourages the participation of SMEs and SME-relevant researches.

Activities

Brokerage sessions include:

1. presentations of the main R&D topics addressed by the FP7 2011 calls for the areas of: Health, Agriculture-Food-Fishery-Biotechnology (KBBE), Energy and Environment;
2. flash 3 minutes presentations of R&D proposals by 14th IBS participants interested in coordinating or partnering in public-private partnerships related to each of the presented topics;
3. bilateral meetings to further discuss potential partnerships.

The 14th IBS attendees are invited to submit their projects ideas via the “Apply” button below by 6 September 2010 (00:00, Rome time).

Applicants are required to:

1. register via the online form and clear payments. If you are not yet registered please click here
2. provide the reservation code e-mailed upon registration;
3. prepare 3-minutes PowerPoint presentations of project ideas (max. 2 project ideas presentations allowed, be that for the same or for different topics);
4. present the project idea in a 3 mins oral presentation during the brokerage sessions coordinated by the Technology Platforms or APRE at the scheduled time.

How to Apply

1. FP7 2011 calls relevant to the 14th IBS for the areas of Health, Agriculture-Food-Fishery-Biotechnology (KBBE), Energy and Environment are listed in the attachment below. Please, take a moment to review the list. Full list of topics is available at this link
2. Download the PowerPoint Template (see link below) for draft project submission and fill it in with the information required.
3. Click the “Apply” button and submit your application and project draft by uploading the duly completed PowerPoint Template.

Applicants will be asked to present their draft projects during the brokerage sessions, and agree that the PowerPoint file is uploaded onto IBS webpage and consulted until the end of December 2010 (access restricted to 14th IBS participants only).

KBBE presentations are scheduled on September 16th from 3.30pm to 6.30pm and September 17th from 8.30am to 11am.
KBBE, Energy and Environment presentations are scheduled on September 17th from 11am to 1.30pm.
Health, presentations are scheduled on September 17th from 3pm to 6.30pm.

Presentations Timetable will be announced after September 6th and will be final.

Note

No variations to submitted project proposals are allowed.
Applicant must be the project proposal presenter.
