Abstract submission deadline: 31 March 2010

Please submit abstracts using the Online Submission Form by 31 March 2010 according to the abstract preparation guidelines detailed within the online submission process. Instructions on how to submit your abstract are included in this pdf. Please click here to open the template.

Each registered participant can present no more than 2 abstracts.

Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt including an abstract reference number, which should be quoted in all correspondence. Allow at least 2 hours for your receipt to be returned to you.

Publications

All abstracts submitted for each Scientific Session will be referred by the Chair and Co-Chair of the same Session, and a criterion of rejection will be lack of originality. A condition of submission is that, if accepted, the paper will be presented at IBS2010 by one of the authors.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Biotechnology. The best papers presented at each IBS Scientific Session (as oral communications or poster presentations) will also be considered for publication in their entirety in Elsevier journals (such as Process Biochemistry, Biotechnology Advances, International Journal of Pharmaceutics, Journal of Biotechnology, Current Opinion in Biotechnology, Metabolic Engineering and Biotechnology Advances) subject to each journal’s standard peer-review process.

For revisions or queries regarding abstracts already submitted
If you do not receive acknowledgement for your abstract submission or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please DO NOT RESUBMIT your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Please email the Conference Secretariat with details of any revisions or queries. Please quote your reference number if you have one.
